Research Interests

I've worked in sonar signal processing and wireless telecommunications, and been a stay-at-home mom. More recently I thought it might be fun to be a grad student again. So here I am, studying machine learning methods, graphical models in particular, with applications in speech and language as well as computational biology (which isn't as strange a combination as you might think !).
